| NO-MEDICAL LIFE INSURANCE |
No-Medical life insurance provides a great insurance solution for certain people who are adverse to giving blood and urine samples or meeting with a nurse for a paramedical examination. As a general rule of thumb, no-medical life insurance usually has more liberal underwriting standards. Meaning, you don't have to be in perfect health and the perfect height and weight to obtain coverage.
Today, many applicants can apply for as much as $500,000 of level term life insurance coverage and never even have to meet with an agent, a doctor or a nurse.
Keep in mind that No-Medical Life insurance is not the same as 'guarantee issue'** life insurance. The difference is that no medical life insurance is a good option for the very healthy to fairly healthy applicant who wants a good amount of life insurance without having to do an exam. A policy decline would be automatic for the cases of recent heart attack, stroke, or cancer, to name a few. No medical life insurance policies still have medical questions on the applications which must be answered truthfully. In general, more minor health problems are usually acceptable, while major ones are not. In most cases, an MIB (medical information bureau) check will be run on the applicant to review the last 7 years of medical insurance and life insurance activity. Please consult one of our licensed experts, or fill out an ONLINE FORM to determine whether or not No-Medical Life insurance would be a good fit for you! |

*The information on this page is intended to provide a very rough blueprint on the suitability of No-Medical Life Insurance plans. It is by no means meant to be comprehensive since health issues can be so numerous and too detailed to catalogue here. Different insurance carriers also have a different tolerance for certain risks. All applicants are underwritten individually with all medical history weighed before a carrier makes a decision and give an offer of coverage.
**(Guarantee issue life insurance are very small life insurance policies $5,000 - $25,000 maximum that pay out a 'graded' benefit. For example no benefit paid if applicant dies within first 2 years of the policy.
